Funny fashion, shopping and retail news, tips and stories. Shopping doesn’t always have to be stressful, and being a self proclaimed shopaholic is so much more enjoyable if you can freely mock yourself and others alike. There are a couple we thought we would mention and share in this post, enjoy and hopefully you too will have a little laugh on this Friday afternoon (first Friday of 2012 FYI!)

  •  The Story of the $1 Dress by Lori Fradkin on The Huffinton Post - a hilarious story about the journey of eventually wearing a $1 dress which was originally $750. I once bought a pair of £1 trousers which never saw the light of day. Lesson learnt: £1 / $1 items of clothings shouldn’t just be purchased for the sake of being purchased.
  •  Shopaholic Probs and Shopaholic Probz Twitter accounts- two separate accounts which have nothing to do with each other, but are basically the same. They tweet and retweet funny quotes that shopaholic shoppers are likely to say when justifying one of their many unnecessary purchases or reasoning for shopping. Such as “Online shopping is my hangover cure #shopaholicprobs” or   “I’d rather buy clothes than food #ShopaholicProbz“. Double dose of laughs on your timeline if you follow them both.
